We had a small grass fire the other day in the field next to the house. The fire truck came to put out the fire and got stuck in the sand. It took about 20 minutes for the truck to become unstuck and by that time the fire was pretty much out. But Jay and the locals enjoyed the show.
塀を隔てた近所の草地でボヤ騒ぎ。そこへ、ピカピカ光るサイレンを鳴らして消防車が到着したものだから、ジェイは大喜び。
ところがこの消防車、現場へ到着する寸前で、タイヤが砂地に嵌って前にも後ろにも進まない。
お陰で、カッコイイ消防車は長いこと眺められたし、遂にはちゃんと放水も完了したしで、ジェイは憧れの消防士さんの任務をとくと観察できて、大満足の午後でした。
