Bullfight Mexico City

I love bullfights and Plaza Mexico is one of the best places to see a bullfight. Bullfights take a bit to get use to. But once you understand the history and traditions of bullfights they can be quite interesting.

The trick to enjoying a bullfight is to sit in the cheapests seats possible which is the general seating on the top of the statium in the sun postioning yourself closest to the shade area.

Here is where you will find the lovers of bullfights. These people are loads of fun to hang out with but be warned expect to do some drinking as they are all loaded up with wine skins (and even a cow leg) filled with sweatened tequila.

Metropolitan Cathedral Bell Tower Tour

This was something new for me and it was very neat.  The tour itself is uninteresting but it gives you a chance to walk along the top of the Cathedral which gives amazing views of the zocalo and other parts of the historic district.

Teotihuacan is about an hours bus ride out of Mexico City.  Not much is know about the ruins or the people that built them.  They were abandoned long before the Aztecs arrived on the scene.

Christmas in Mexico

Christmas in Mexico what fun.  First I got to spend a week with Troy, Robert, and Kevin in central Mexico.  The first set of pictures is from Mexico City.  I really enjoy Mexico City.  It is nothing like you have heard.  Safe, more or less clean, the people are very friendly and the historic center is very walk able.
